Anne Morrissy is a writer and editor who splits her time between Chicago and Williams Bay, Wis. Her book, Street Fight: The Chicago Taxi Wars of the 1920s, was published on March 5th by Lyons Press and is available everywhere books are sold. (Click “Buy Street Fight” at the top of the page.)

Her first book, Running the Reds: The First 100 Years of the Water Safety Patrol 1920-2020, was released in October 2019 by Nei Turner Media Group. Morrissy is the editor of At the Lake Magazine, and her writing has appeared in many other regional and national publications. She is a graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio, where she majored in English with a creative writing emphasis.
